About us

Who are The Health Hub and what makes you different?

We are an independent health food shop that specialise in supplements, herbs and natural remedies. All of our staff are qualified and experienced nutritional therapists and we pride ourselves on giving expert advice on nutrition and natural remedies; and on our friendly customer service. We have a very broad and eclectic range of natural medicines and health supplements that have been carefully curated to offer the best in kind, giving the best results and at the best value for our customers.

Where do you operate from?

We operate from our shop (in Ballincollig and we also serve customers online). All orders are dispatched from our shop.

Products & Safety

Do you offer vegan, gluten-free, or speciality-diet products?

Yes. Our selection includes many products suited for vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and other dietary requirements. We clearly label these products so you can easily find what fits your needs.

Are your supplements and products safe to use?

Yes. We source only trusted brands and reputable suppliers. All supplements comply with EU and Irish regulations. If you have health conditions or take prescription medication, we always recommend consulting a qualified healthcare professional before using dietary supplements.

How do I know the product I want is in stock?

Stock availability is updated on our site in real time. If a product shows as “in stock,” you can order directly. If a product is out of stock, you may sign up for notifications (if available) or check back later.

Ordering & Payment

How can I place an order?

You can order online, or you can call the shop on 021 481 0110 and we can take your order over the phone. You can also order in person if visiting our physical store. If you have a lot of questions, or a number of health issues it is always best to come in for a proper chat so that we can help you select the most suitable products

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit/debit cards, and other secure payment methods supported during checkout. All transactions are processed using secure encryption for your safety.

Is checkout secure?

Yes. Our checkout process uses secure, encrypted payment gateways to protect your personal and financial information.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship to and how long does delivery take?

We only ship within Ireland. Orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours after payment confirmation. We use An Post Advantage for delivery - this is trackable and delivered within 24-48 hours.  For larger orders or during busy periods, dispatch and delivery may take a little longer.

Do you offer free delivery?

We offer free delivery on orders over €100.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information. You can use the tracking number to follow your package until it reaches you.

What do I do if my order has not arrived?

If your package doesn’t arrive after a reasonable time frame after despatch, and you can’t get any updates information from the An Post website with your tracking number, just get in touch via the Contact Us section of our website, or email sales@healthhubstore,com and include your order number. Or call is 021 481 0110. 

What do you use for packing orders?

As much as we possibly can, we recycle packaging from our in-store deliveries (e.g. bubble-wrap, boxes etc.). Your order may come in a box from another brand other than the Health Hub.

Return & Exchanges

What is your return and exchange policy?

We accept returns or exchanges under certain conditions. If you receive the wrong product, damaged items, or defective goods, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. You can call us on 021 481 0110 or email us at sales@healthhubstore.com. We will guide you through the return or exchange process.

Can I return a product if I simply change my mind?

For hygiene and safety reasons (common in supplements and health products), we only allow change-of-mind returns on unopened items, unless required by law. Please contact us first to confirm eligibility.

Who pays for return shipping?

In cases of damaged or incorrectly fulfilled orders, we cover return shipping. For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We recommend that you use a tracked delivery service as we cannot be responsible for items that go missing enroute.

Account Privacy

Do I need an account to order?

No — you can place a one-time order as a guest. However, creating an account offers benefits: faster checkout, easier order tracking, and access to order history.

How is my personal data protected?

We use secure, encrypted systems to handle your personal and payment information. We do not sell or share your data with third parties (unless required by law).

Can I update my personal details or change my password?

Yes. If you have an account, you can log in and update your profile, delivery address, and other details at any time.

Nutrition & Supplment Advice

Can I get guidance on which supplements to take?

As a nutritional therapist and health-shop owner, I’m happy to offer general guidance and advice. If you would like personal advice, it is important that you call into the shop or speak with one of our staff over the phone. There are many resources such as blogs, videos, news articles, on natural health, health supplements and natural remedies and medicines in The Wellness Hub section of our website.

However, because everyone’s health is unique, supplements should not replace professional medical care. If you have a health condition or are pregnant / nursing / on medication, consult a qualified practitioner before taking supplements.

Are your natural foods and supplements suitable for special diets (e.g. vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free)?

Yes. We carry a wide selection of products suitable for vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary requirements. Where applicable, we clearly label products so you can choose safely.

How should I store supplements?

Store supplements in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Some heath supplements may need to be stored in the fridge but this will be stated on the product label. Always check expiration dates and keep products sealed until use.

What should I do if I have more questions?

You are welcome to reach out via email or phone. We can give the best service when you visit our store in person for personalised advice. We aim to respond to all online enquiries within 24–48 hours (on working days).

What if I can’t find a product I want on the website?

You can contact us and request that we source it for you — we’re always open to expanding our range based on customer demand.
