We reserve the right to change the Terms under which the Website and the Goods are provided. Product and Health Information

We endeavour to keep all information in the website as accurate and up-to-date as possible. However, we are a small independent health store and sometimes we might not get it right!

This information on our website has been produced with the best interests of our customers in mind and should be used for guideline purposes only. It should not be considered as medical advice or used to self-diagnose. We mostly use product descriptions and specifications provided by the manufacturers of those products.  Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.

Regarding health advice, please make sure to check with your own healthcare practitioner if you are uncertain about taking herbs and supplements with other medication and with certain health conditions. We do not recommend the use of vitamin supplements, homeopathy, herbal products or any products purchased from The Health Hub in place of qualified medical advice. The Health Hub may correct any error appearing in the Web Site or withdraw any product from sale without incurring liability. Price and availability is also subject to change without notice.

Placing Online Orders

You can place an orders online at any time that is convenient to you. However please note that orders will only be processed during normal business hours, Monday to Friday. The Health Hub reserves the right to refuse to sell or supply goods to any person or company for any reason.

You may order products from the Web Site by submitting a completed order form through the check-out procedure. On receipt of you order, and when payment for goods, and delivery charges if any, has been processed we will send a confirmation order dispatch email. Sending of that email makes the contract between The Health Hub and you. If a product is not available we will include details of the unavailable product in the order dispatch email. You will not be charged for a product that is not available. Refunds will generally be made by means of a credit to your original payment method.

The price of the products will be the price quoted in the Web Site at the time we accept your order. The price will include any applicable value added tax, but not the cost of delivery. (See Shipping Information for terms of and costs of delivery). If you are purchasing with a non-euro credit card the exchange rate shown on your statement is set by your card provider and not by The Health Hub.

The Health Hub reserves the right to change prices without prior notice and to withdraw from sale any products advertised online at any stage without prior notification. Although every care is taken in the quality of content on this site, there may occasionally be an error and items may be mis-priced. In this event we will either: contact you to ask if you wish to cancel the order, or simply cancel the order and notify you, at our own discretion. We are under no obligation to supply goods at the incorrect price.

 

Delivery of Products

The Health Hub will arrange for delivery of your products to the address specified in the check-out procedure. The time for delivery will not be essential to the contract between us. If you do not take delivery of the products or supply adequate delivery instructions, we may cancel your order and retain the products. In this event, we will refund you the price of the products, but you will still be liable to pay any delivery charges.

If there is an error or any other delivery problem in respect of the products ordered, you must notify us in writing within 21 days after the delivery date. We will not be liable for any loss or damage if you fail to do this.

 

Promotions and Discounts

Online offers and promotions may not be available in the store. Likewise, store offers and promotions may not be available online. Discounted products cannot be further discounted by using a discount promotion or code or otherwise.

 

Credit Card Security

All transactions are processed by Bank Of Ireland merchant services. All transactions are highly encrypted and your card details are never passed on to The Health Hub or any other party.

 

Cancellation of Orders

You may cancel your order by notifying us in writing at any time up to 10 days after your products have been delivered. The notification should state your order number and reason for cancellation. If you cancel your order after we have dispatched the products then you must return the products to us in a securely wrapped parcel to The Health Hub. 10 Time Square, Ballincollig. County Cork. P31 AD73. The products should be returned in good condition and unopened. We recommend the use of a recorded delivery service. You can no longer cancel your order once you have opened the product containers or used the products. However your statutory rights regarding quality will remain unaffected.

 

Cancellation by The Health Hub

While we will do our best to ensure that we get your order to you, we reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered; if we cannot deliver to your area; or if one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.

If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

 

General

The products advertised in the Web Site are intended for sale to persons dealing as consumers and are not for re-sale. We are not responsible and will not support any products that are resold.

The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply to any contract between us, so that no contractual rights are conferred on third parties.

Any contract between us shall incorporate these terms and conditions and be under Irish law. If there is any dispute, the Irish Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction.
