  1. Dry Skin in Ear: May be a reaction to sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS). Try a atural neem shampoo. May be a fungal skin problem: Wipe the inside of the ar with a cotton pad moistened with grapefruit seed extract.
  2. Hard Skin on Heels: Soak in Epson salts and use a cream that has urea in it. Cracked Heel Cream from the pharmacy works well.
  3. Omega 3 Fats: Look at the EPA and DHA concentrations to assess quality. A good quality fish oil will have between 400-700mg of EPA and 200-450 mg of DHA. DHA wonderful for fatty tissue of brain and neurons. EPA is a great natural anti-inflammatory.
  4. Tight Calves: try magnesium gel rubbed in twice a day. Also stretching exercise are most important.
  5. Low Thyroid: Iodine and tyrosine for making thyroid hormone, selenium for conversion to the active form of hormone inside cells. We love Bionutri Tyro Plus. Kelp is a natural food-based alternative for iodine and selenium.
  6. Vitamin D: It is possible to take too much Vitamin D. Have your levels checked by your GP before taking very high doses. We usually recommend 1000IU of D3 daily for adults unless there are compromising conditions.
  7. Shingles: Vitamin D, C and zinc every 3 hours for immune system. Olive leaf extract for its superb anti-viral properties. Dr. Clare Healing cream for painful skin.
  8. Hiatus Hernia: We find Slippery Elm take before meals can help with the acid reflux and heartburn. Zinc Carnozin for strengthening the pyloric sphincter muscle to prevent acid leaking into the oesaphagus. Centaurium is a lovely herb that can balance stomach acid. Eat 6 small meals and elevate the head of the bed at night.
